1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CliBook, a desktop application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Corevixa ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CliBook is a command-line snippet manager that allows you to store, organize, search, and quickly access CLI commands. The Service includes:

• A desktop application for macOS
• Command palette for quick command search and execution
• Cloud synchronization across devices
• AI-powered command generation, explanation, and optimization
• Command sharing via Command Packs
• Premium features available through paid subscriptions

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using a supported sign-in provider (Google or GitHub). You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Store or distribute malicious code, malware, or commands intended to cause harm
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application beyond what is permitted by law
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable use

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and store using the Service, including commands, snippets, folders, and tags ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership over your User Content.

5.2 License Grant

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

5.3 Shared Content

When you share content through Command Packs, you grant other users a non-exclusive license to use, copy, and modify the shared commands for their own purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that shared content does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free and Premium Tiers

CliBook offers both free and premium tiers. The free tier provides core functionality, while premium features require a paid subscription.

6.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Polar, our third-party payment provider. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Polar's Terms of Service.

6.3 Refunds

We do not offer refunds. When you cancel your subscription, you retain full access to premium features until the end of your current billing period, and no further charges will be made. For any billing inquiries, please contact us at [email protected].

6.4 AI Credits

The Service uses a credit-based system for AI-powered features. Each subscription tier includes a monthly allocation of AI credits:

• Free: 30 AI credits per month
• Premium: 500 AI credits per month

Credits reset automatically every 30 days from your registration or billing cycle start date. Unused credits do not carry over to the next cycle. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

6.5 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier, and your AI credits will be reset to the Free tier allocation (30 credits per month).

6.6 Plan Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription plans, features, pricing, and credit allocations at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

6.7 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for the Premium subscription. The trial provides full access to Premium features for the specified duration (currently 14 days). A valid payment method is required to start the trial.

If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged at the then-current rate for your selected billing interval. You may cancel the trial at any time before the trial period ends to avoid being charged.

Free trials are limited to one per user. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the free trial offer at any time without prior notice.

7. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features for command generation, explanation, and optimization. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate or suitable for your use case
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated commands before execution
• We are not liable for any damage caused by executing AI-generated commands
• AI features may be subject to usage limits based on your subscription tier

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Corevixa and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corevixa, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
